| | Tantalus is based at Watergate Marina, Clear Lake Shores ( now in Rio Dulce, Guatemala ). This is only two miles from Galveston Bay, a large inland sheltered bay. Here you can sail in almost 300 square miles of flat water, usually in 10-15 knot winds. This is perfect for
learning to sail or just practising already achieved skills.
From our base at Watergate we can take you into Houston, and show you many interesting places, including the NASA space centre. Nearby are many good restaurants and bars with live music and wonderful fresh seafood!
The weather varies from warm to very hot, depending on the time of year. Whatever you enjoy, we can assure you of an exciting and interesting time.
